Holiday coming up !!

At long last, the wife and I are going to our house again !! Going for a holiday, 27th December to the 11th January, not as long as we would like but its better than nothing. Should be interesting though as we are vowing to stay in our house and not my parents this time. We may only have a small oil burner oven but we will survive, somehow !! Going to sweep the chimney in the lounge and bodge a ffire grate together so we can get some warmth in their. In the summer it was fine to be their with no heating but over the new year, going to be cold !!

We are going back for xmas too - sadly we may need to rely on central heating only, as our keyholders seem unable to fit our woodburning stove in time, and have removed some of the fireplace...
