It turns out wishes do come true !! I was in work on thursday and a guy came in and told me im being shipped off to Canada for 2 months so I need to take my pre-deployment leave now, that was all I needed to hear. Got straight on the phone to the missus to get her to try and book some time off, got home booked a ferry (£80 with Norfolk, good price) and am now digging all the stuff out to take down. Hopefully the weathers good as this is going to be the first full holiday we've had to get some jobs underway, really excited and cant wait now. Just about to head down to Bognor to 'acquire' a harness and belts off my old boss at BT for the tree work. Angle grinder, drill and all sorts of other paraphernalia ordered off Screwfix will be arriving today. Just need to give the car the once over then were good to go !! Really cant wait but I expect you can tell
