Ski school close to Lyon
Discussion
Am going to be working in Lyon for a while and am looking for a ski school within striking distance - plan is to do a few hours tuition on a Sat and Sun at the end of the week and fly back late Sun.
I'll need accommodation for the Fri and Sat too..
Before I just book from a google search, anyone have a personal reccommendation? (I know nothing about the area and its 10 years since I last hurt myself strapping planks of wood to my feet, so put me down as a novice).

Take the E70 east and head towards Albertville or Annecy. There's absolutely loads of resorts in easy reach, I suppose it comes down to budget more than anything else if you're learning.
We go to La Clusaz, a relatively small resort, family friendly (quiet!) so if it's night life and apres ski that you're after then don't bother. The kids are in the ESF there and are getting on very well. Provate lessons aren't too expensive and instructors speak good english.

Where in Lyon will you be working?
I'll be at EM Lyon which is on av. Guy de Collongue. Plan was to take a couple of weekend's practice beofee the season ends, but I've booked myself into lessons at the indoor snowdome in Milton Keynes before heading to Lyon to meet some friends this weekend.
