Car hire - South of france

Hi,

Flying into nice on the 30th of may for 10 days or so. We're going to be driving into italy to watch the moto gp then back again. Looking to hire a car, ideally something that will make the driving part a bit of fun!

Dont want to go mad and hire a ferrari or something but at the same time we dont want to be driving a twingo about (much as i love them!) lol.

Have found a 3 series convertible around the 650 quid mark but it does say "or similar" so no doubt it will be a citren c3 convertible!!! lol

Any recommendations of decent companies that do half decent cars at good prices???

Hope you had fun. We always use Avis in France. Never had a problem in 20+ rentals.
