Help on RN85 and RN91

I am heading down to france over the UK bank holiday in may. I was wondering how I can find out the state of the roads over the alps, specifically RN85 and RN91 and whether they will have snow or the surfaces will be badly broken up.

Thanks, does that mean it covers the major roads too, or just the motorway?
