Secure parking in Cannes
Discussion
Will be staying in Cannes for a few days in the summer, probably in an Airbnb. Am planning on taking the GT3, but only if I can find a secure parking space.
Google's not showing any useful options, so can anyone recommend anywhere? I wouldn't use the car when there so it doesn't have to be right in the centre of the town, although that would obviously help.
Thanks for any pointers anyone can give.

I don’t own a car like a GT3, but I can’t see that parking in the Palais car park wouldn’t be as secure as anywhere else.
Have always parked there when visiting Cannes and it’s as secure as any other underground car park.
Depending where you’re staying, you may be able to get parking with the property or secure concierge parking if a hotel. You could call any of the hotels on the Croisette and ask them what their parking service is like.
Most of all won’t you want to join the other poseurs tooling up and down the Croisette in the evenings?

There seems to be a presumption here that parking a nice car in France is somewhat more risky than parking it in the UK.
As a general rule, I have found that French people tend to like and respect nice cars - far more thumbs-up, “belle voiture“, than Vee-signs. I don't think there is the same risk of having it “keyed” as the UK. No one is likely to lift the car for a ride home. It is too noticeable, particularly with RHD.
I supposed organised crime taking nice cars to order and shipping them elsewhere in a container is likely to be at a similar level, but again, a RHD GT3 car is unlikely to be on their list.
Take the car, park sensibly and enjoy your holiday. Presumably, if the worst happens, its insured anyway.

Thanks for the replies. Am still checking accommodation. If hotel, valet parking looks too pricey, and if I can get an apartment with a space then great, but think it's unlikely.
Am not worried about vandalism, more about it being stolen despite being RHD which I figure will reduce the risk. Having insurance is great, but I've specced it from new and waited well over a year to get it, so would prefer not to have to start again.
The Palais car park suggestion's useful. Thank you. Will be fine with a public car park that's manned and has got plenty of cameras. Once it's parked, it'll stay there until I move on elsewhere in France.
Thanks.

Nah. Head down to Theoule sur Mer for lunch and a laze on the beach there….Thanks.
Just around the corner from the Sun Riviera, which doesn't have it's own restaurant, is our absolutely most favourite resto in Cannes, noisy, full of life and fun, smashing food in generous quantities and not overpriced, La Brouette de Grandmere. We haven't been recently because of the lockdown but it's a family business and always a highlight of every visit to Cannes! Enjoy!
