I'm hoping someone can make the Crit air stuff a bit clearer for me please as I seem to be reading conflicting articles.
Two mates and myself will be heading into France on our motorbikes in September one of the bikes is from 1996 does this mean he can't access the areas at all?
Does he still need a Crit air sticker?
I can plan the route to avoid all these areas but the Grenoble one maybe an issue as we were going to stay there for a night.
I didn't know anything about the Crit air until i'd planned the route.
Thanks.

I find the official Crit AIr site hard to use and often refer to the Green Zones app / website.
Age wise obviously the older bike can't get a Crit Air as you have twigged. But many of the zones are part time. You would be surprised what is allowed. The GreenZones app indicates right now that my old 90's petrol Merc is allowed in so feel the bike would be as well - for Grenoble zones.
Only thing to beware is accuracy of GreenZones - which for my 90's diesel motorhome you pay to use - free for cars. The Rouen zone was amended last summer but the GreenZones app has not updated and still shows the route through as available - so beware.
