Sports car peage agonies

Just back from a jaunt to the Pyrenees and, by God, using the peage was a pain in the arse. Seems you need to be driving an SUV for it to be anything else. Need to get me one of those toll tag thingies.
Best thing you'll ever buy for long distance driving in France in a RHD car. I find the best solution is to not go abroad anymore.
And if you think a sports car is hard, try a caterham/Westfield or cobra rep with the wet weather gear on. No windows to open so have to stop open door get out pay, get back in etc etc. It's the reason I stopped using the M6 toll road

Driving on Autoroutes is boring. Having to get out occasionally to walk round the car to flash a credit card is a welcome break.
In 2000, I drove a Frogeye Sprite from Roscoff to Marbella with an overnight stop at Burgos. It was a very memorable journey as fuel was also in short supply.
I suppose it is important to find something to whinge about. I do have a TAG now, but if I am travelling with my wife in our RHD car, she finds it pretty simple to do the deed.

Bip and Go? I'd never heard of it. The pay as you go scheme looks just the ticket for our next trip.
https://www.bipandgo.com/en/I live in France and have had one for years, originally bought for the VX220, and as others have said it is a Godsend. I asked for extra clips when I got it and have two more in other cars so it's just a matter of switching the tag from car to car as necessary. And the non stop lanes are brilliant, allows you to smile past all the idiots who have overtaken you at outrageously illegal speeds over the last twenty miles!!
