How many 309 GTi's in France?

We have 'How many left' in the UK for finding out numbers of vehicles still registered with DVL, Is there any such thing for French registered vehicles?
Reason I ask is because I was just on Google Street View and was randomly dropping down into places across the globe, as you do
, I decided to
check some places in France and the first street I dropped into completely at random, I was amazed to find I was right next to a parked 309 GTi 3 door in charcoal grey, immediately thought crikey they are pretty rare cars now, we never see them anymore.
So was that a 1 in million chance or are there still a few on French roads?

I do not know how many are left but 37 260 were produced
