The Classic Sundays begin again on the 7th of April at Circuit de Charade ( 63122 ) up in the hills above Clermont Ferrand.

This year's agenda is

April 7th: Japanese Cars & Motorcycles
May 5th: American cars and Motorcycles
July 7th: The Citroën brand and French Motorcycles
August 4th: Cabriolets of any type
September 1st: Festa Italia - Italian Cars & Motorcycles
October 6th: British Cars & Motorcycles

The 1st weekend in June is a race meeting but there will be a display of cars and bikes from the 70's to the 90's ( or youngtimers as the French refer to them! )

There's a nominal 2€ entry fee to the paddock for the normal meetings, not sure for the race meeting.

If you've never been, it's a great circuit, think along the lines of a bigger and more hilly Cadwell Park usually with lots more sunshine!

I have done a track day there. A great circuit, but only 95dbs. May go for 1 of the events, but 4hrs across the mountains. But watt a drive.

That is my problem, and it is gaining pace everywhere now. My car is well over 100 dbs, but sometimes they turn a blind eye. I've never seen a noise meter, nor people being checked, so maybe it is observed in the breach. Any info anyone?

The 95db at le Charade is a pain and it's been closed at times due to local residen pressure. I'm pleased to see it open again as its a great circuit.

You would be ok at the Val de Vienne I reckon I've never seen any sound testing and there has been some very loud stuff on many day days I've been there.
