Halfway between Paris and Calais - Kid Friendly
Discussion
As per title really. Spending a few days in Disney this weekend. On the Monday we have all day to make the 3hr journey back to Calais. I need something in the middle, near Arras for example that is suitable for a 5 year old and an 18 month old to help break the day up. Any suggestions?
May not be too much for the kids but it could be worth visiting Vimy Ridge and the WW1 Trenches

On a nice day the view is fantastic from the very impressive monument.
Also a bit further north

Not been there myself but gets good reviews

Parc Asterix is what you need.
Bit too close to Paris, idea is to split the return journey up a bit, but thanks for the suggestion.I would quite like to visit Vimy Ridge, do you think it is acceptable to take a 5 year old and an 18 month old?
From a personal point of view if you have never done the Somme and the war graves etc it can be a deeply moving experience.
