We inherited some money and bought a flat in the UK at the begining of last year.
French Tax form has just arrived and I want to know which boxes to put which number in?
We are declaring the flats in the UK with HMRC as is required.

Thanks
Terry

It’s probably better to tell them if you have already paid the tax in the UK.

The HMRC told the French authorities citing the name of our agent which caused us some headaches, but there was no tax liability.

Tax guy fills in the boxes, so I can’t answer your query.

Thanks chaps, well we are declaring and I think I have figured out which box to put what.

Just for anyone that is looking , I found this ..........

Form 2047 section 4 and section 6:

Form 2042 section 4 box 4BE and 4BK (if gross rent less than 15000€ p.a.)and box 8TK.

if more, box 4 BA and 4 BL and box 8TK.
