Chaos around here tomorrow I expect....
Discussion
I suppose there should be an election thread here.
We went to our vigneron on last week and it seemed pretty certain that they were going to vote Le Pen. The value of the euro was their biggest beef, followed by Fillon with his hands in the till and Macron being phoney ( Tony Blair with a charisma bypass).
My wife then went to the beauticians and got a similar story only she had a bigger beef about immigration (thanks - but perhaps we don't count)
We went to the market on 24th June last year and a few people said how sorry they felt for us now the UK was leaving Europe. Now we keep getting quizzed, how do we think the UK economy will grow outside of Europe?
Whatever happens on the 27th, I feel certain things might just change this time, but not necessarily in the positive direction that France so badly needs.

What if...... the two candidates in the second round are from far right and far left? The first round is even more important than usual this time.
That is the nightmare scenario for many French that we know. If say, you leaned towards Fillon (or even Macron), who would you vote for in the second round if it was between Mélenchon and Le Pen?Some pics of yesterdays event popped up on Mrs PO facebook, quite surprised at the number of Brits that we know were demonstrating but shouldn't have been surprised I suppose as it was the usual mouthy/shouty socialist crowd of ex-teachers and ex-civil servants who had moved over here to live in the left-wing paradise only it ain't turning out like that and they don't like it one little bit.
