Hi Everyone just skping the outlaws and we think that they may have a Proline tumble dryer we bought for them in Darty that is subject to the safety recall. In the uk we had a hotpoint one that was replaced with a new one for £99 at 10 years old that was part of the same problem. Apparently the old ones could cause a fire.
Does anyone have any information on how this is being handled in France ?

The brands affected are Creda hotpoint indesit proline swan basically all the whirlpool group apart from Whirlpool themselves.

Any help would be gratefully received

I would phone Darty direct and just ask or go into a shop and look at the rappels list.

We put the machine number in the UK Indesit recall web site and they arranged it all with the local repairer

They didn't want to know at all either in france or in the uk, bought a new one now, never buy their brand again!
