Engine Machining Services - Saintes Area

Hello
I am currently rebuilding a pre crossflow 1500cc Cosworth engine for a future project (not bought yet!)

I need the flywheel skimmed and perhaps the combustion chambers opened up a big and balanced.
Does anyone know any good machining services in the Charente Maritine and in particular local to Saintes.
In the past I gave just sent stuff back to the UK.

Hi Terry.
Try Xavier Billard in Cognac. He owns an outfit called Mosport and looks after lots of precious metal of the classic racing variety including my two and has all the necessary contacts to get anything you need done if he can't do it himself. He also speaks pretty good English so you can discuss things with him without fear of any misunderstanding. Worth popping in to see him in person at first as it's easier for him rather than over the phone initially. He's a good guy.

Thanks Russ , will give him a try. Won't be for a while now as I discovered my bores need the a slight top ridge taking away and I have purchased a ridge reamer from the US!
