Know of any instrument cluster repair places in France?
Discussion
Hi I am needing to replace the instrument cluster/dashboard on my 2007 Range Rover Sport. I have bought a second hand one and now need to get it re-coded so that it knows the VIN number etc of the car otherwise it will not let the car start. I know of a number of such places that will do this in the UK for £150-£200, but I am based down near Bordeaux and cannot track down even one such place in France.
Does anyone know of any - ideally but not essentially - in the SW region of France? If you can also say if you have experience of how good they actually are that would also be good to know.
Thanks in advance

Just in case anyone should come back to this thread in the future. I found my solution. There's a guy in Villeneuve sur Lot who repairs dashboards. His website is www.auto47.fr.
It turns out that he just needed the 2 dashboards and not the car, but I am not certain whether this was because of the method he used to do the transfer of information. Rather than read the data from the chips and then re-program the new one he physically removed the old chips and transplanted them in to the new one. This could have been a dodgy technique if it was the chips themselves that had been the problem but luckily it wasn't.
The process only cost me 77Euros, however I did have to go back a second time (used to that in France now!) since the first time around he only transplanted 1 chip and it turned out there were 3 that needed doing.
All is working brilliantly now for a total of 200Euros vs Land Rover's quote of 1,500Euros.
I also later discovered that if you do searched on leboncoin.fr there are other people dotted around France too that do this work.
