Has anyone got any recommendations for classic car insurance in France. Have spoken to Generali who normally do all our insurance, but encountered all the usual nonsense and complications. Even wanted to know how much the car weighed FFS! Usual limited mileage sort of thing is what i need.
Cheers

I use TEA Cerede. 10% discount if you're a member of FFVE. Nice people, small outfit of brokers.

I use Serenis who my broker put me onto.

I used to use Retro Assure but last year and without telling anybody they changed their policy of permitting cover on UK vehicles to a maximum of two months which anybody who knows the system in France will tell you can be very tight to achieve. It's far from uncommon for the FFVE to take 8 weeks to issue their attestation.

Serenis have no such policy and although (unlike many !) I always register my cars it's helpful to be able to do it in a timescale which gives me time to do whatever work I might need to do on a car prior to registering.
