Anyone used lefrenchmobile.com for a pay-as-you-go cell service?
I have a French work mobile and a UK work mobile, but am looking for a personal phone in France for occasional incoming calls as well as 4G data that doesn't go through the company.
Bought a cheap Nokia Lumia off eBay so now looking for a pay-as-you-go sim to stick in it

Well, I went ahead with LeFrenchMobile and very happy with it so far. I'm on wifi most of the time and downloaded the Nokia maps so not using much of the data package.

Just in case this helps anyone with a similar need.

I haven't heard of them but just visited their site and it looks to be alot cheaper than our current Orange contracts.
Thanks for the heads up.

Alternatively get a French PAYG SIM in France. I have just returned but bought a data only SIM for my iPad from SFR (shops in most towns) for €9.90 for 15 days. Orange also seem well represented. Make sure you have your passport with you as they ask for ID

Trouble with French PAYG is the credit expires if not used or topped up.If I read Le French mobile correctly if you don't use or top up they will charge 1.40E to keep the your credit and account active.

I changed to B&YOU. Credit does not expire. I used to be with NRJ but they changed thier policy and started the expire scam.
