Saintonge is a nice circuit. I've had a few good days there on the Ducati, but have never taken a car. I would be interested in what you think of it.

Never been, but if it is anything like Haute Saintonge with nice long sweepers, it would be just the ticket. At the risk of asking the obvious, where is it?

The circuit of Pau-Arnos is located at 20 kms in the west of the town of Pau and at 12 kms of its international airport.
Exit A64 Pau

Not only that, it's not far from Nogaro either

Well i really enjoyed Saintonge on Saturday. A very good briefing first. The Chef de piste had laid out marker cones for us to aim at which helped alot.

The track was a little damp at first but very drivable,it dried out nicely and i got the hang of the track ok and got going with pace.

I decided to run just for the morning session due to the weather forcast. And sure enough the heavens opened.

A really nice place and i think its going to be a regular visit for me from now on.

Sunday and today we was on the Vigeant circuit. Its a local track for me and i am getting to know it well.
There were some hot cars on show and i had alot of little duels with various cars.
My poor old coupe has had a very tough weekend and performed well.

Its a winter of more tuning and mapping trying to get to 330hp with a bigger turbo and 3 inch exhaust system, along with a roll cage and hopefully a big brake set up.
I just got to earn the dosh for it all now.
