Tennis French Open - Roland Garros

How easy or difficult is it to get in to watch some tennis at this event? At Wimbledon you can queue up and get tickets for free from those people handing theirs in on leaving. Is there such a thing at Roland Garros? Is it as difficult to get day tickets via the legitimate sources as it is to secure tickets for Wimbledon? Thank you for any advice.
