Just a thought, I have a good friend who has opened his specialised workshop in Cognac . Classic Porsche competition cars are his thing , but he is a capable engineer and can work on any classic machine.

I have just returned from Circuit des Ramparts - he must be a busy man with all those nice cars in Charente; especially the Polybai Porsches

There's a Ferrari specialist in Angouleme, too. And good bodywork place for classic cars. Looks like the Charente might be the last refuge of the French car enthusiast!

Haute Saintonge is close to me, and it's a good track, but a bit short.
