I have recently been having huge problems with my Orange Internet access failing. A few online checks by Orange suggested the signal was fine, but I persevered and arranged a call-out.

Despite my house connection being only 7 years old, every bit of kit between the pole and my internal joint box had to be replaced because of corrosion. The internet now works fine.

Perhaps of greater interest was the fact that I was told that I qualified for a 2-Meg upgrade and that my monthly bill would be reduced to €25. I appreciate that there may be even cheaper options.

Complacency is bad, so It may be worth checking if you also qualify; The English speaking service is on 09 69 36 39 00.

Might give them a call. My line was previously in someone else's name and the Orange Internet logon is in that persons name although the contract is in my name.
