-5 and heavy snow since about 6 this morning in the Charente. Fierce south wind turning it into blizzard conditions. 2 log burners on the go.

Hi,

Light snow in west Vendée (St Gilles Croix de Vie) yesterday evening (11 pm), all melted this morning as temperature raised to 5/6° C.

About an inch of snow in Bordeaux city centre. But enough to stop the entire public transport network.

-10 in the day and -30 at night up here in Les Menuires, kind of cheating though as there is supposed to be snow here this time of year, it is bitterly cold though and the temperatures and causing so much trouble here

About 30 cm of powder here in Ariege,visibility not good so it's going to waste plus school bus cancelled until further notice.

Yes school buses cancelled till Thursaday. My mrs drives one so nice little bit of time off for her.
The sun is out today and a bit of a thaw.
Our road into the village is ok but with a few drifts to pass.
