Anyone got any links to getting a new computer in English with a QWERTY keyboard? Dell will sell me one - at over 1,000€. They will only sell me the top model, the robbing bar stewards.

Apple? Their UK online store gives the option for french stuff, so I'd expect the opposite is true?

Thanks, but on Amazon the re is a Fujitso at 4,000€ yikes and I don't want an Apple. Several friends have had serious blow-ups with the latest, including one that caught fire.

I'm assuming you don't mean a laptop.....

Just buy a French one and change the language settings to English when you get it.

You can then order a QWERTY keyboard online.

If it is a laptop, you can use an external QWERTY keyboard.

An AZERTY keyboard is really not all that difficult (I'm writing this post on one now!). Living in France, I find that using a QWERTY keyboard is more hassle due to the lack of accents, whereas a French one is perfectly good for writing English.

Gave up and ordered from Dell France - in english. An old dog too set in his ways to try and change, especially since I write articles for four countries each month.
