Looks to be a Ferrari themed cancer charity event today, Sat and Sun. I'm with the inlaws in Poitiers so should be going. Never been before so don't know what it's like but hoping there'll be some interesting cars parked up.

I was at VdV on Wednesday and they had already started to unload some of the race cars and hi-end exhibits. They are talking about 500 Ferraris alone, many other clubs go in the outfield, but a pass that covers the paddock is best.

Sadly, I won't be there at the weekend, but it is a great day out, amd for a good cause. Hope that the weather holds out for you.

Thanks for the info John I'll get paddock passes at your suggestion. Were you doing a trackday Wednesday, are they open all year round?

As you have probably seen there are thunderstorms predicted for the weekend so hopefully we'll be lucky!

Yes, I was there with www.accespiste.fr It was very well organised and quiet, unfortunately I do not think that they made a huge surplus as they included insurance and lunch in the €130 price.

There are open trackdays each month, but they have 2 x 20min bike sessions and the one x 20min car session, each hour. So, it is usually better with private TDOs.

That looks like a really handy site. I can see from your profile that you must have lots of fun too smile

I went up the V de V circuit today for the first time. Seems like quite a nice setup. They had loads of Ferraris which makes sense with the Ferrari theme, a few F40s, F50 and older stuff I didn't recognise including an old F1 car circa early sixties. There were various other F1 cars about Jordan, Ferrari etc which went out on track.

Had the most fun walking around the paddock if I'm honest (not really into Ferraris) and there were even, a couple of Griffs and an Aerial Atom parked up.

Will definitely get up there again some time smile

The track days that i have been on there, have mainly been on a sunday. I have paid 12.50 euros for 15 minute sessions. As you say it is a nice set up there. I have just returned from Spaitalia, having been on track with the Fiat Coupe clubs of Europe. Fantastic !!!
