Travel/Holiday Dates.

Hi all!!

Looking to take a drive to the South this year to visit my folks in Le Lavandou.

Will be doing motorways all the way but will stop in Dijon on the way down, and drive the whole route on the way back.

The dates we will be travelling are depart UK 26th August for a 10am Eurotunnel crossing.

Then spend the afternoon driving down to Dijon.

Then we will leave Dijon 27th early and head straight down.

Our return Journey, we will be leaving early 5th September to get the evening Eurotunnel crossing.

I think that makes sense

What i was wondering is, will the motorways be fairly clear both ways as i think the Europeans holidays etc will be over by then?

You're traveling date's seem spot on for missing the August madness. On you're way down you may see a fair bit of traffic going the other way.
