I've got some wine that I'm considering selling and was wondering what i should ask for them. Any comments from wine buffs would be greatly appreciated

Been at the wine today...no idea what it was...german stuff...good! hehe!

How long did take to type in all that ? sorry can't help on the wine question.....wine that old wouldn't haven't lasted that long in my house

I don't understand why you're selling it?!
Surely it was bought to drink or is alcohol just equity to you...very un-thoughtful...

Depends massively on how they've been stored - some of them are well past their peak ...the Ch. Meyney for example.

Some beautiful stuff in that list, and if I still had an expense account I would be after some.

The best advice I can give is to contact a reputable wine merchant and ask him to price them up for you - on the proviso that he gets first choice if you do sell them.

You could also auction the collection and potentially get a lot of money for one or two of the rarer ones.

If you have no luck selling them, then I'd be more than happy to commiserate with you - I might even bring a bottle or two of my own Ch. Palmer Grand Cru!

Blimey! a '69 Margaux...

You need yourself a proper wine-merchant (and MW) to price that lot up. Has it all been cellared properly? I would assume that it has...some of those older wines would be well over the hill by now otherwise and only saleable to collectors.

How much do have of each wine? That little lot must be worth thousands...

Thats why I joined I thought it was a site for wine drinkers......
you got some seriously good stuff there....
No idea of the value though.....
