It's the genes apparently

They think that eating Special K is healthy.
Well it is if you eat a normal person sized portion.
What that fatty puts into its bowl in the first scene reminded me of the EU grain mountain illustrations from GCSE Geography!
FFS....these people really get on my nerves with their chronic stupidity.

Some weird logic there 'we all eat pizza, curry etc every evening and are all fat, therefore it must be in our genes'.
They do say that some genetic traits lead to obesity, but surely the questions you want to ask are:
1) How many calories do you consume a day?
2) What do you do during the day to burn those calories?
A bit of simple math would then determine if there was any medical reason for weight gain.
The frustrating thing is that they've convinced themselves it's linked to their genes, which pretty much gives them the excuse they need to not consider their diet and exercise routines....

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this already, but there is a multi-page thread already running on this family.
