A proof of delivery fax has been sent, i am still awaiting confirmation from someone that it has been received as it is not showing in the dispute history.
And please let someone look over the "customer support" detailed below. -

April fool's day is still a few days off, and for someone to expect me to believe that the way to submit a fax scan is to initiate a name change is pretty much an insult.
Humouring your colleague brings me to stage 3, and the search through "help" turns up with zero answers, which is probably for the best, as otherwise i'd change my name to "DHL tracking info" which means new passports, driving licenses etc.

In fact, i hardly know why i am writing this, as it seems you have some sort of malfunctioning computer that responds after guessing a few keywords in an e-mail, and ignoring the main content of the text.
Here is a request in binary to contact a human. 01100011_01100001_01101110_00100000_01111001_01101111_01110101_00100000_01110000_01100001

If i receive any more stupid emails, I will pull out your monitor cord and kick you in the USB port.

Thanks,

Human.
I'm sure there is someone who is trying to wind me up somewhere.
I'm looking forward to the lobotomised response from some sort of text producing creature.

The backstory is some idiot that sells uprated clutches on ebay (which are covered in OEM marking, but badly painted red) sent me the wrong clutch.
I return it and get no refund after chasing, so i start the dispute stuff, and not much happens, especially as i didn't get much tracking info as i gave it to the couriers next door to one of our storage yards.
first off i get tracking details as they want to see online tracking.
next they complain that online tracking doesn't show delivery address.

kinda the same as every courier's online tracking...

so i request a proof of delivery from DHL, and dhl say they can only deal with the courier i used, so i contact them, and they tell me its 2.50 for a fax, so i get a fax.
now trying to get the fax to paypal is the hard part.
especially as a chat robot is manning the helpline at the moment.

How hard can customer support be? I guess people do get some angry rants occasionally, and get contacted by the terminally stupid, but "confirm my fax, or give me an alternative method" can't be too hard to answer can it?

To add to the whole disaster, it started with a slipping clutch which was 18 months old, a cheapo one not the top of the range one i paid the garage to fit, and the pressure plate was warped. they also forgot to actually put any bolts into the starter motor too.

and at that time, the clutch was only changed 'cos the release bearing was noisy...

If things carry on at this rate, in 18 months they'll be reviewing films made about me by describing as the "UK's Falling Down"

And i bet it'll bomb at the box office.
