Urgent: recording in stereo via line in in Audacity
Discussion
Mods: please don't move, I'm going out shortly and need to record something from the radio.
Using Audacity I am recording from my DAB radio - stereo (headphone) jack out to stereo jack line in on soundcard (light blue socket), but audacity only says it can hear through the left channel and is only creating a mono track.
Help! Anything obvious I am doing wrong? Wires seem OK and everything plugged in properly...
Edit: I should add I am monitoring it through the soundcard speakers and it is stereo, so presumably something in Audacity...

Had same prob . They seem to come pre-set that way (why???) Somewhere in the settings you'll find the stereo channel set-up. Sorry I can't be more helpful ATM (have since uninstalled it).Using Audacity I am recording from my DAB radio - stereo (headphone) jack out to stereo jack line in on soundcard (light blue socket), but audacity only says it can hear through the left channel and is only creating a mono track.
