I don't think I'm the only PH member to sometimes have a browse through the Pie and Piston while at work.

I do not expect to click on a topic entitled "gutted", about a relationship breaking up, just to scroll down and have my screen filled with a horrific image of a mostly naked "lady" in fishnets and what-not.

This happens a lot.

If someone looked over at my desk at the wrong moment it would embarassing.

Please stop it.

Thanks.

You're a tool, that was posted last night and last commented on at 08:30, how can that be expected to be of the usual PH quality?

He's got a point, that sort of stuff can lead to IT depts reviewing the status of websites and getting them blocked.

well, no. He hasn't got a point. i'm sure if work knew he was going onto PH in works time, they wouldn't be chuffed anyway.

Maybe. But his father certainly did. His mum definitely only got a half measure.

I agree with this. If you are going to post NSFW material please post it in a NSFW or 18 marked thread please. I do browse from work in my lunch hour and generally don't like having to clear my cache all the damn time thanks to people inline linking dodgy pictures. Since I have seen people get canned for less it might be a good idea if this was made a forum rule.

I also agree, I went into the gifs thread only to back out immediately as the first gifs would not be deemed appropriate smile

If anyone is not happy that a particular image has been posted, then please DO report it.

It's not possible that all mods can read all posts on all threads all day long - so any posts reported are dealt with.

In my book - any inappropriate images are removed and said poster is banned.

True, but that is a completely separate issue from the one I was trying to make and obviously failing miserably.

It's all about web monitors and content filters based on site ratings.

For example we have PCs deliberately set up in rest rooms, off the canteen so that people who don't have access to PCs /internet or don't want to do this on their desk PC can at break times, off duty, whatever access the net to do personal things, order groceries online, banking, book holidays, post on PH whatever. However these PCs have the same rules as work PCs because it goes through the same proxy, thus we get complaints that people can't access personal email, access MSN and other instant messenger / chat sites, look at Youtube, update their Facebook status and a whole load of other hollyhocks because that sort of stuff is blocked. Social networking is obviously blocked.

Therefore all it would need is for PH to be re-rated as social networking or worse, judging by some stuff that the idiots post on here, and it would be automatically blocked. Thus I suggest that traffic would go down considerably and the value of the site to the users and, more importantly Haymarket, would take a nose dive.

That's all I'm saying, exercising a note of caution, seen it happen to other sites and traffic has suffered as a result.
