Clarkson barricaded into toilet!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rclytxSsoGk

I don't apologise if it's a repost: I searched for "Clarkson toilet" and checked the first 2 pages of GG & P&P! tongue out

Where was the sence of humour failure?

He had a big grin on his face, and shrugged his shoulders.

He didn't look particularly tickled by the jape. I doubt I would either. Practical jokes are great but must never impinge on Toilet Time.

Accurate reporting, if 'stormed off' means simply walking away

Sorry, but to me this looked like a group of chavs ruining a day out for a bloke 'off telly'...

Pathetic, unnecessary and totally unfunny. rolleyes

It must be quite frustrating if you can't go out without being barricaded in a toilet or having custard thrown in your face. rolleyes

And SUCH a funny prank too! Go to the loo and then find the door has been jammed shut and a dozen photographers gathered around to catch the moment in the hope that the headlines will by pithy and the articles incisive.

I would have howled with laughter. It's comedy gold.

"ah yeah theres that clarkson bloke and he's going for a dump, lets chuck a load of tyres infront of the door so he cant get out"

"yeah that well funny innit bruv, should film it too"

fking idiots

the comments on that youtube page annoyed me a bit.

yes, some people might not like him, for what ever reason, most of the time is from what he says or does in topgear.

but at the end of the day, I think he is great, says what he thinks, and doesnt appologise for calling brooon a one eyed fat idiot. only saying something that, I shouldnt have made fun of him that he only has one eye smile

in some peoples eyes he is an idiot, but at the same time he is earning fk loads of money and 'I think' is the highest paying new paper guy thingy in the country. so he isnt that much of an idiot if he can earn that much money.

I dont think its a funny video, I think its stupid and immature.

If it was some chav that it was done to, the chav would find out who done it and stab them.
if it was some normal member of the public, it probably wouldnt have happernd.
if it was some other celebrity it wouldnt have happernd.

at the end of the day, I dont know why people give him so much stick.

It is.
But I can also see the Top Gear team doing it to one of the Top Gear presenters whilst on location.

Could have dealt with it a bit differently, with a bit more 'ha ha'...'is this James's idea...ha ha. Or something simular. scratchchin

P.S. Don't think any less of the bloke. Still a great personality/presenter in my view. (even though he had a Jeckyl/ Hide view of TVR's). hehe

Not really funny. Clarkson in my opinion is one of the wittiest and most watchable guys on TV at the moment. Sure he's outspoken, has questionable (but damned funny) views on things, and he often contradicts himself. It doesn't matter though, the guys a legend, he's good at what he does and doesn't deserve a lot of the stick he gets.

Yes, but that's completely different - they know each other and the familiarity is there. It's acceptable.

IMO blocking Clarkson in is no different from blocking any stranger in, and that would be considered loutish and rude behaviour by most people.
