To be fair, those pics are all of relatively youthful MP's in a media-savvy age, dressed for our times. It'd be a fairer comparison if our MP's were also pictured when younger. In addition- many of them seem to be also-ran MP's. I'm sure there must be a few MPs out there who are a bit fit- it's probably also a function of voter age. Young men/women are probably more likely to vote for a stunner than a 60 year old feminist worried about her pension.

Of course female politicians don't have to look like models. But it would be nice if they stayed in shape and watched how they dressed. Some of the French female politicians (like that recently fired justice minister) could definitly show them the way there.

It's not supposed to be a serious thread!

It does emphasise just what a lot of harridans our (mostly Labour) female MPs are.
