At the begining it says "Megan Gilan, 15"

and at the end it says "Capita have asked the school to convey their apologies to Mr and Mrs Gillan."

So a missing L

Is that what the OP is talking about maybe?

spenvalleyviking beat me to it.

Nothing to do with "dictionary police". The writer of the story cant be bothered to check the girls name before publishing it. Thats totally unprofesional and quite frankly insulting. They are after all PAID to get it right.

To write an article on how insensitive the school have been but then not bothering to proof read it properly before publishing it is a very poor show.

So you are ranting about a grammatical error. You may want to check your own post.

It's 'could have'

Like the way they shifted blame (yet again) to Capita. Where would the public sector be without an IT firm to beat up?

How do you know it was a tart who wrote the story? Is your real nom de plume "Sid the Sexist"?

trust me fella, if you have ever had to use or support SIMS in any shape or form, this excuse would be entirely plausible to you, and in fact the first one you would assume.

the system is pants, and still being ported over from dos modules.
