Search function is really slow on PH this morning. O2 searches come up with new customer sheeite so P&P is my font of telephonic knowledge!
I've got an iPhone on o2 tariff which gives me loads of minutes and free data.
Off to Dublin on Wednesday, how does the roaming thing work? Will I still be able to use my free data or free wifi? Not too bothered about making calls.

Quick everyone before they move it to Comps & Stuff!
Cheers

You'll be using O2 in Ireland, but I think you're still going to be hit with roaming. I'm T Mobile so didnt pay too much attention but there's feckin great ad billboards with the tariffs on when you come through Arrivals

Be careful because you could be hit with a massive bill when roaming in another country with an iphone. O2 do a bolt on package for minimum of 1 month with 3 different levels - I think the cheapest is £17 for 10MB.

You'll be roaming so you won't get your free calls or data.

The calls will be more expensive than in the UK but robably not too bad.

Data is very expensive when roaming so be careful. There is a thread on here where one PH'er ran up £1000 of data roaming and a supposed £22000 bill has been run up. I managed £300 when in Spain for 2 days. As I said be very careful with data roaming as it can be £1 per MB!
