Directory Enquiries
Discussion
Probably like everyone else I try to use the internet instead of Directory Enquiry services these days, but sometimes you have to use a DQ service. If you do, could you think about giving something to charity while you do so, and a charity very close to my familiar's heart - Cats Protection?
If you use 118 515, which is about the same cost as the other services, for every call you make CPL get 9p. They are one of the charities that use about 95% of their income to help cats rather than a large percentage going in 'other costs', so you can be sure it's going to a good cause.

Would this be the same charidee who had £11.5m stashed in one Icelandic Bank, whilst pensioners were arranging coffee mornings left, right and centre to keep them going?
