Has a PH post ever got you into trouble?
Discussion
Well, I'm sure there must be a few, but I thought I'd entertain you allwith a little story that has followed on from this post I made a few weeks back.
Well, the ex read this today or last night, promptly showed it to the ten year old and then phoned me up threatening all sorts of actions. Having been called a down the phone I hung up and turned my phone off.
Later I received a text message saying that the Guards (Police) had been called as she wanted me to bring our 2-1/2 son home right away. I'd declined the offer stating that I saw no reason to forego our agreement that has been running for months now where by I have him from Friday evening to Monday morning.
Any how, the Police car just drove past, but didn't stop, apparently they went to the wrong place (can be a nightmare in these rural parts finding the right house). I then get a text (I'm not answering the phone at that moment) saying she's called off the Police. Mean time I get a call from a friend up the road ('bout a mile or so) saying there's been a Police car asking for directions to my house.
So I phone her and ask what's going on? Are the Police coming or not?
Bring it on... I'm expecting riot vans and armed police that are going to drag my son kicking and screaming away from me all over an internet post.
So, finally I cave and call her and ask 'Are the Police still coming?', to which I get 'Bring him home', 'No' says I, 'I still see no reason that he needs to come home tonight instead of tomorrow as arranged'.
'Do you want to get arrested?' She asks. 'Yes' said I. The phone went dead.
I'll keep you all posted.....

This is just like an episode of the bill I saw recently. I can't remember what happened in the end though!
Perhaps you'll get arrested but how will you tell us?
Maybe if they offer you 'one phone call' you can ask if you can have one post instead?

Let's not forget that I've spent a lot of time with the 10yr old, in fact I'd defend the position of being te one that taught him to read. I've met a few kids of that age (just turned seven) that couldn't read and know how sickeing that is to witness.

That was nice of her.And why were the police coming round? "My ex asked about legal responsibility towards his stepson on an internet forum. Oh, and I think he was speeding." "We'll send the flying squad straight away madam"
To Ex-Mrs-Ex: feel free to justify your actions here
