The sun is shining, the birds are singing, I cannot hear any cars on the road,
A lovely day for a drive out, shake off those winter blues.

What's everyone's plans for today?

going to get the top off and take the TVR for a run out.

mow the lawnsand then give both cars a wash and polish later.

Yes, a truly glorious morning and, to top it off, I've got a funeral to go to this afternoon!

Yay!

Still, at least the cemetary won't be too muddy.

Cricket nets in an hour or so, then back home for a shower and then I think we'll grab a bottle of champers and the picnic blanket and have a nice wee picnic by the river (oh and a hoon with the top down!)

Can't wait!

Seriously, am I the only one going to visit my mum today?

Is no-one else taking their mum a Mothering Sunday gift?

Cue the lots of people suggesting they always visit my mum etc.. but not at weekends etc..

No we are all heartless bds

Our Sunday drive consists of driving to see one mum, going for a walk, driving to see another mum, and driving home
Their flowers are all ready, just the cards to write out, bless them.
We are lucky enough to have mums still smile

I'm going to ring my mum in a minute. She's in Australia and not home until Tuesday. frown

Other than that I'm taking a friend to her photography studio, visiting another friend and dropping a Mothers' Day card off (from her cat hehe ) then finally going doing some painting and wallpapering at a house I've just bought.

Going to sit by the window with my craft things and either make some jewellery or make some cards.

Might go for a walk later as well.
