I just hope the resultant tabliod outpouring of grief doesn't turn Goody the reviled racist into Goody the saint, just because she was unfortunate enough to die. This whole episode has demonstrated the worst of the gutter press in this country. Morals? What morals?

I am kind of with Mark on this, my first thought was well we won't have to keep hearing about her and seeing headlines about her.

There are many others who have died or are dying of cancer and do so with dignity, I can apprciate she wanted to make money for her kids but I thought it all very tasteless.

I'm sure her two little kids dont feel that way.

I'm sad to see anyone die of cancer at 27. Anyone who doesn't feel saddened by her death is pretty sick IMO.

Its a non story, Im not saying its not sad and that she deserved it, I even feel sorry for her kids. TBH i feel more disgusted with a society that makes someone like her famous than someone like her taking advantage of her situation.
Maybe the press will have time to come around to see my nan or aunt, both in similar situations? No? Ok, maybe some sympathy and a couple of million pounds to help our family get over it? No?

No need for that response. At the end of the day there are people (not myself) that were interested in her and most important she had a young family, like many other women going through the same ordeal.
Sad news weather in the media or not.
