No of course its not, but then why did this man get away with it?

Galloway said he personally would be donating three cars and 25,000 pounds (35,000 dollars) to Hamas prime minister Ismail Haniya as he dared the West to try to prosecute him for aiding what it considers a terror group.

"I say now to the British and European governments, if you want to take me to court I promise you there is no jury in all of Britain who will convict me. They will convict you.'

Regardless of your views on hamas, its listed as a terror org by the British government so why shouldnt someone who funds them be treated the same way as someone who funds Al-Q? If our government had the political will, of course they could charge this man.

Although I utterly abhor him, he clearly believes in what he is doing.

I would much prefer it if he went and lived over there permanently though. To my mind Galloway is little short of a traitor.

Not specifically for Hamas. More for the myriad of other things he has said over the years.

Anyhow, I'm not professing my response to Galloway is entirely rational. I just find him loathsome in general, regardless almost of his warped politics.

Count me in. I'd find the fker guilty of anything he was accused of. Are there 11 more out there?

HE probably means for the interview where he said things like this

"George Galloway had angered his opponents when he urged the Arab world to rise up and kill British troops in Iraq. He also called on the British soldiers to disobey, in his words, “illegal orders.” Somewhere down the line he uttered: “Iraq is fighting for all the Arabs. Where are the Arab armies?” In a blatant call he even urged the Gulf states to “cripple” the West by cutting off oil supplies."

Yeah... all that is pretty traitorous I'd say.

Odious man. Makes my skin crawl.

Hamas is considered a terrorist organization by Canada, the European Union, Israel, Japan, and the United States. Although Australia and the United Kingdom list only the military wing of Hamas, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, as a terrorist organization

Shame.

I think for this one we come under the European Union then. Please.

Well it appears the UK turns a blind eye to fund raising for terrorist organisations if they're not in some way linked to al quaida or the taleban. The Tamil tigers or LTTE have been banned by the UK, EU, US and 35 other countries..yet fund raising for this organisation occurs throughout the Tamil communities. They pioneered suicide bombings, killed an indian Prime Minister and a Sri lankan president and have been involved in countless attacks in Sri lanka..

Here's a suicide bomber atmpting to assasinate a politican:

and a 911 inspired suicide air attack

Despite much of the fund raising that goes on in the UK, and the anti-terrorism laws that aims to curb funding terrorism in this country, the authorities do absolutely nothing about it.

clearly not as Brake, T2K, Greenpeace and FOE are all registered charities dedicated to the destruction of civilisation.

Galloway is a traitor and a st.

In the words of Alan Partidge: "yes I support the death penalty for murder and treason". he should be hung at dawn. /

Well, that looks to be the third time that you have posted those links on PH.
