George Galloway a "threat to national security"? Really? The man who pretended to be Rula Lenska's cat on national TV?

Really?

Well Britain have started banning politicians entry who they don't agree with. So can't see why Canadians shouldn't be allowed to.

One problem though...if every other country takes that approach we'll be stuck with him...

I can't stand the cretin, but I do think that he should be allowed the freedom to speak in a Free Democracy. It's all too easy to scapegoat someone these days, and simply ban them. There will come a day, when large numbers of people will want to speak out against their government, and you know what that government will do, don't you?...

+1 can't stand him either (although Galloway vs US Senate was good), but at least he does something to expose/keep mainstream politicians on their toes...

He does Talksport Friday and Saturday 22.00 - 01.00.

Accidentally switched it on last night. Support from his commie sycophants was quite nauseating...

Good on you, Canada...

Here's a Galloway moment to enjoy ------>

Oops, sorry, sorry, try again ----->

Says something about the way Britain is at the moment though. We banned that Dutch MP for speaking out against Islamic fundamentalism, Canada bans one of our MPs for speaking for it.
And it's hardly like Canada is the most right wing country in the world either.

Good one Britanistan

Unfortunately I don't think we should ban people from speaking their beliefs, regardless of how odious they are - we let Gordon Brown speak after all.

As the man from Canada explained on C4 news last night it's nothing to do with 'free speech' it's about the fact that he publically supports Hamas which in Canada is registered as a terrorists group and preeches to total destruction of Israel and killing of the Jews.

That is why he has not been let in.

Which is speech, is it not? However obnoxious it may be.

Sorry but there is freedom of speech and supporting a terrorist group. I'm glad to see there is a difference.

I'm hoping Greenpeace will reach terrorist status shortly.

No because he wouldn't be allowed into Canada even if he was just going on Holiday. If he didn't support a terrorist organisation he would be allowed in and be able to say what he likes.

Again nothing to do with what he wants to say, he is not allowed in because he supports a group that Canada considers terrorists and a threat to it's citizens and national security.

This was 'free speech' argument was the same rubbish Galloway kept spouting when faced with the actual reasons from the Canadian guy last night on C4.

???

I really don't see why anyone pretends to have freedom of speech or freedom of expression. Fact is every country on earth has censorship against something or other (even Sealand) - the only question is to what degree.

So you think racial hatred is OK to support?

Oh he'll love this!!

it will appeal to his ego massively, he is an attention seeker who likes the rock n roll lifestyle, but ultimately a sad deluded old man who has nothing to offer but controversy.
