where have the last 5 years gone? I seem to be back to square one, worse off financially and older.

I've had lots of fun but don't feel I have progressed in many areas such as work or qualifications.

I just hope I don't feel like this in another 5 years!

I was 49 years old last week, and I know I've done far more in my life than many people on this mortal coil, but it still seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye. I always thought I'd have so many memories to look back on and be glad of, places I've been, adventures, travels, dramas, wimmin, etc etc, but it doesn't seem to matter any more, none of it does.



Being content is probably the best you can hope for. If you can honestly say you are content, happy as you are, then it means far more than having a bunch of 'scores' on your belt.
