So I have this new puppy he is a Yorkshire Terrier, 5 months old, and I think he might be gay. One of my friends has the same type male dog and she brought him over earlier this week for a 'playdate'. Things were great at first and they were chasing eachother and playing, but then I realized that only my dog was doing the chasing and the playing was actually my friends dog trying to run away. I carried on watching them and then I see my cute innocent 6 pound puppy mount his new 'friend' and start thrusting his hips! So I grabbed him and pulled him off and my friend decided it was best if she just left (sooo embarrassing) is this normal for a puppy or have I picked the Alan Carr of of the litter?

Normal....its a pack dominance thing.
I have two female dogs and they do it now and again.

Young dogs will hump anything.

If it persists, consider getting him neutered.

Was that strictly necessary?

You shouldn't blame the dogs, it's the owners who are at fault.

Remove his testicles, that'll sort your problem.

(not that being gay is a problem or solvable by castration of course... this advice is dog related only).

Yes, certainly. That goes for zoo-keepers teaching chimps to masturbate.
Should be banned.

Absolutely, Alan Carr talks like he's had his nadgers cut out and he still drops anchor in poo bay! silly
