Its been a rough stty year. I'm working+travelling 14 hours a day. We had a rubbish winter. All my plans went down the crapper and the debts mounted up.

But I look out the window. I see the sun on a large patch of grass and I really want to by lying on it with a cold beer in my hand.

I want to play some football in the park. I want to sit in my mates (massive) garden and play cards.

Summer is here and all I want to do is be outside!

What are you looking forward to (apart from tit monday) now the sun is back?

I can't wait for the clocks to go forward so it's light when I get home. This weekend, assuming it isn't raining, I'm going to take the MTB out. I had 18.5C in the garden two days ago!

Hate to piss on your cornflakes OP, I'm sitting by the window, looking out at the sunshine, beer in hand, ignoring the 'phone and generally taking it pretty easy for a Friday afternoon.

However, so far this year, all I've done is work like a bloody idiot, so I'm sure I deserve it! Sun shines on the virtuous!

I don't think that's necessarily true.

Shines on me just fine.

I want to wash the car and go for a drive in the evening sun.

Nice and cool to keep the car shovelling along and no direct sunlight so the paintwork looks half decent.

I hate black cars!

Just spent the afternoon with a buffer on the car as the sun has brought out all the scratches frown

Just to let you all know.

i just went out for a blast on my quad, visited the local shop, stopped by the pub, caught up with some mates and had a nice easy day off.

But i do feel sorry for those of you having to work inside.

Well they will, DCs are heavily air conditioned smile There is nothing worse than being stuck in a DC all day (or night), you lose track of time, I call it 'datacentre psychosis'.

Me too! I've chainsawed some trees in the garden, had a pub lunch, went for a drive to the lake for an ice cream with the top down and sat in the garden with a bottle of wine. Just come in as it's getting a bit chilly. Off to the pub in a bit.

Such are the delights of being dole scum biggrin
