Out of Hours Share Trading - a question...

So, following RBS shares (vested interest) I notice that at 5 minutes-ish after the markets close most days someone puts through a trade for 10's of millions of shares with a 'UT' code!

Can anyone shed some light on how these out of hours trades are possible/effected???? It's a lot of cash at around £5mill each day...

Wouldn't have thought this was an individual trade. All markets have a small period where trades are still being processed, where there is a flurry of activity right at the close.

I think its just part of the end-of-day reconcilliation.

It's an uncrossing trade, a complex transaction that I simply don't understand...

This is used for the single uncrossing trade, detailing the total executed volume and uncrossing price as a result of a SETS auction.
