Wedding on a Scottish beach- possible?!!
Discussion
I was at a beach wedding in the west highlands a few years ago so it can be done - I think it's the minister that has the authority (licence) rather than the place as in England but you'd probably have to check with the local registry office to make sure. I think it's a lovely ideas albeit a bit risky with the unpredictable weather!

Won't you all get eaten alive by midges? Or is that only in certain areas of Scotland?
Nah, midges only come out to play in evening when all is calm and quiet.OP Rugged beach 50mins from Edinburgh? I think you will struggle tbh, I would say the 'romantic' beaches are all in the NW Highlands.
Not the prettiest but near where I am originally from, google Gruinard.
