I want to buy something from ebay but they are all listed as being from hong kong. I can buy them elseware but they are atleast triple the price for the exact same thing.

Anyway, do you have to pay import duty from Hong Kong? I ordered something once before and never paid anything, although the item was very cheap and very small and so may not have warrented any duty.

Any info appreciated!

I have done similar from buying off eBay and have never had a problem or an unexpected bill.
Mainly radio control stuff which was bulky but didn't attract any duty. Don't they generally send items as gifts, in which case you should be ok.
Good luck all the same though
