Thought I would post this in P&P rather than the movie forum as it seems a very PH movie.
Just saw an advert for it, "Flash Of Genius", where (I think) the plot is about a man who has designed his own car and someone who works for Ford steals the design and they start producing the car. Looks like the Mustang. The guy then embarks on a high publicity legal string of court cases against Ford where he battles the odds to try and gain rights for his design and prove that it is his.!!

Looks quite good.. Anyone got any real info on it..? hehe
Could be a PH hit!

He invented the intermittent wind screen wiper. Not the whole wiper just the intermittent control. Fors copied it after he tried to sell it to them.

Ooh, could I patent intermittent steering? then whenever anyone makes a turn, I could claim a royalty for part of the turn.

Seen it about four times. Not through choice, but because it is our local airline's in-flight movie at the moment. For a film about windscreen wiper blades it's OK.

But would you say it's the best movie about windscreen wiper blades you've seen smile

I would have to say, on reflection, that it is probably the best film about wiper blades that I have seen.

Actually, it is not a bad film although I didn't have much sympathy for any of the characters and had I been in the hero's family I would have beaten him to death with his own windscreen wiper long before the story finished.
