I've shredded hundreds of cheques that they keep sending me and my cards have thousands on them. If I'm going to the hole in the ground I know I could have a ball before I went. Like you say the bolt etc is all a bit late. Another stupid knee jerk to something that has been getting said for years.

I must have missed the legislation making it compulsory to max out all lines of credit. Perhaps people could only borrow what they can afford?
