The OH has gone big time on putting candles on during the evenings, no bad thing, lovely smell from some of them.
What I am after is those long things, which I always thought were called "Tapers" to light them with. When some of the bigger ones burn down, the outside is till intact, resulting in the wick being right inside the candle, and almost impossible to light with a lighter,
Can you still buy them, and where would I find some.

its a small bell on the end of a telescopic pole.........one uses it to ring the bell by your servants ear , to indicate you need more gin....

Apologies for a sensible comment but shouldn't you be trimming the wax away from the outside if it is not melting. Allows oxygen in and for the candle to coninue to burn more efficient like.
